Our Community

Our little town is something of a crossroads- people meet here from Oneriri Rd (which takes you to the Kaipara Harbour) Maungaturoto a town 15 mins to the west, Mangawhai 15 mins to the East, Waipu 15 mins to the North and Wellsford 15 mins to the South. People who think of Kaiwaka as "their" town live within an average of about 10 minutes drive of the township. Lots of interesting people live around here. Kaiwaka

Our Building

Our vision is to create an inspirational, 'renaissance' environment to delight, feed, entertain and inspire people of all ages with new possibilities for themselves and their communities. The 'renaissance' vision means to us the valuing, celebrating and harmonizing of all the levels of being human, from the biological through the social, intellectual and spiritual. So Eutopia within its ship-like walls will have gardens, café, restaurant, ballroom, stage, labyrinth and round table for ceremonies such as festivals and weddings, an 'ivory tower' library and conference room - in short, we want it to be a 'microcosm' of our ideal culture!

Our Café

We love great coffee! We use Allpress Organic blend. We chose to use this coffee when we first opened and we've never regretted it. We use mainland organic milk and many of our customers come back again and again just to enjoy the delicious coffee.

Menu

We are always looking for more local suppliers of organic vegetables and fruit. At present we get the majority of our supplies from Ceres and Chantal We also use Whitestone feta cheese,Omaha blueberries. Though we bake many of our own biscuits and slices, we also sell Ediths (of Organic Delights) glutenfree wafers and vegan spice biscuits.

Our Bookshop

One of our little rooms has a collection of second hand books for sale form our personal book collection! We are using the money raised to add to our building fund! ALSO We are self-publishing our works of fiction, which you can view here.
We have also started e-press to help other aspiring authors get published.
