Eutopia Press evolved from Peter's desire to make a binding for his fantasy books that was romantic as well as affordable.
Embossed blank books followed naturally.The new 'burnt book' invention is a way of making carved (branded) book edges.
Polished with beeswax, the edges of the book look like carved wood.
The hand-bound A4 'Book of Days' is an example of this technique, possibly unprecedented in the history of bookbinding.
